Inoment wanted a kick-off for their 18 employees and asked us to arrange a sailing event during an afternoon. We decided to use six GKSS-dingis in order to let everybody participate no matter the level of their previous sailing experience. With a 3-member crew it was necessary for each and everyone to take part and cooperate for the boat to make that crucial extra knot.

Fast progress

We supplied the crews with drinks and snacks, but also tips regarding tactics and techniques in between the heats. A great advantage with the GKSS-dingis is that they give immediate feed-back, and the simple construction allows the crews to quickly come to terms with how to handle the sheets and rudder in order to function well as a team.

After five heats it was time to head back to the harbor as the fog was taking over where the rain had stopped. The day ended in GKSS's restaurant, after sauna and shower, where we treated the participants with dinner and prizes for their accomplishments at sea.
